2 Hydro One workers injured at work

Two Hydro One workers sustained injuries while working on a transmission tower, as reported by CTV News.

The incident occurred on Thursday morning near Petersburg, Ontario, just outside Kitchener.

Emergency services were dispatched to Notre Dame Drive and Snyders Road East, just outside of Petersburg, around 11:10 a.m.

A male worker in his 30s was airlifted to the hospital with critical injuries following a fall, according to Ornge.

Another worker was also injured in the incident.

“We are incredibly grateful to the crews and first responders who took immediate action and provided care for our teammates,” Hydro One stated in an email to CTV News.
