Workplace Safety North (WSN), a leading organization providing workplace health and safety training services for the forestry and mining sectors, is on the lookout for a dynamic individual to fill the role of president and CEO.
The not-for-profit organization, headquartered in North Bay and serving as one of four sector-based health and safety associations in Ontario, is seeking a capable leader to spearhead its strategic vision and operational excellence.
Mike Parent has been serving as interim president since October 2023, following the retirement of Paul Andre in 2017. Now, WSN seeks a permanent leader to drive its mission forward.
The new president-CEO will be responsible for executing WSN’s strategic, operational, and financial plans while ensuring compliance with industry standards mandated by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development.
With an annual revenue of $18 million, a payroll of $11 million, and a workforce of 75 employees, WSN offers an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to make a meaningful impact in workplace safety.
